What class of car do I need to race ? A 1/8th Nitro 'Rallycross' Buggy.
How do I enter a race meeting ? Race meetings can be entered on the day, but we would prefer all drivers to pre-book using our Online Booking system to enable us to speed up the booking in process on race days. This will allow us to get as much racing in as possible especially during the winter months.
What does it cost to race ? £5 for club members and £10 for non-members.
How do I become a club member ? Simple, download and fill in the Membership Application Form.
Do I need BRCA membership to race ? Yes, BRCA membership is mandatory to race, however new drivers can race twice before BRCA membership is required.
What time do I need to arrive if I want to race ? The gate into the park will be opened by 07:45am, please do not arrive later than 08:30 if you intend to race.
Does my pitman need to be a BRCA member ? Yes, anyone in pitlane needs to have BRCA membership. The minimum age for being in pitlane is 12 years old.
Can the track be used on non-race days ? Yes it can, but we do ask that only 1/8th Buggies or Truggies are used. The track is not designed for larger models, and we ask that they are not used as they will damage the track and it's markings. Please take your rubbish home with you.
Is the park open at any other time other than race days ? No, the gate will only be open on race days. If you want to use the track on non-race days you will need to walk over to it.
I can't race, I don't have a pit man .... Not strictly true, there is always someone who will help, and could probably do with an extra pitman themselves. Many people have been in a similar position, but have made good friends by helping out.
How old do you need to be to race ? There is no age limit for racing, we have had drivers as young as 5 years old to 70+ racing with us. The age limit for marshalling is 12 years old, as is the minimum age for being in the pitlane.
Do you allow spectators at race meetings ? Yes, spectators are welcome at any of our race meetings, there is no charge for watching.
Are refreshments available ? Yes, there is a burger van at all our race meetings, selling hot food and drinks etc.
