What was required was a track that was both fast and flowing as well as technical and challenging.
Eventually the track was created, incorporating 7 jumps along with 4 concrete corners.
For track markings we used plastic drainage pipe, as we had done on previous tracks, and for the first time we marked each corner apex with a concrete kerb. The combination of these has resulted in a track which is very enjoyable to drive and also tidy to look at.
The concrete corners have proved to be a great success, tyre wear has not been anywhere near as bad as some drivers thought it would be, and the grip remains good, even in the wet!.
Many hours of work went into the various aspects of creating the new track.
